Are there discounts on annual billing?

Yes — the annual plan is roughly two months free compared to monthly. Pricing is shown on the pricing page in GBP, with VAT handled automatically through Stripe.

Can I cancel at any time?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Cancel from the billing page in your account settings — your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period, then drops to the free plan. No cancellation fees and no contract.

What's the EICR renewal cycle for rental properties?

Domestic EICRs for rental properties in England and Wales are valid for five years under the Electrical Safety Standards in the Private Rented Sector Regulations 2020. Some properties carry shorter validity if the previous report flagged remedial work, the property is an HMO with shorter renewal cycles, or the electrician issued a 1, 2, or 3-year certificate at the time of inspection.

When does Norvio send the renewal reminders?

Three reminders per certificate: 90 days, 30 days, and 7 days before the expiry date. The cadence is designed to give landlords advance notice while still creating urgency closer to the deadline. Reply rates compound across the three touchpoints.

Does Norvio handle PAT testing and fire alarm certificates?

Yes, on Pro and Team plans. The same automated reminder cadence runs for PAT testing (typically annual) and fire alarm inspections (annual or per BS 5839-6 recommendations) alongside EICRs. Free and Lite plans cover EICR only.

Can I import my existing spreadsheet?

Yes. Norvio accepts CSV imports on every plan and Excel (.xlsx) imports on Pro and Team. The importer auto-detects column headers (landlord name, email, address, dates) and validates every row before anything is saved. How big can my CSV import be?

Free plan imports up to your remaining 25-cert quota. Lite imports CSVs in batches of 35 rows. Pro and Team accept both CSV and Excel files in batches of 500 rows. Larger imports can be split into multiple batches.

What if my spreadsheet has missing landlord email addresses?

Accepted Answer

Rows without a landlord email still import — they just don't generate reminders until you fill in the address. You can edit any record after import to add the missing email, and the next scheduled reminder will pick it up automatically.

Do reminder emails come from my address or from Norvio?

Accepted Answer

From your business. The sender name is yours, the visible from address is yours, and the email signature carries your business details. The landlord receives what looks and reads like a personal email from you. There's no "sent via Norvio" footer and no platform branding in the email body.

Where do landlord replies go?

Accepted Answer

Straight to your inbox, like a normal email exchange. You don't need to log into Norvio to see them — the reply lands in whichever inbox you've configured in account settings. Mark the renewal as booked once you've confirmed a date with the landlord.

Can the landlord tell my emails are automated?

Accepted Answer

No. The emails are written in a conversational, personalised tone with the landlord's name, the property address, and the certificate's expiry date. Each cadence touchpoint has different copy designed to feel like a human chasing the renewal, not a system blast.

Where is my data stored?

Accepted Answer

On Supabase infrastructure hosted in EU-West-1 (Ireland). Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Postmark handles email delivery, also EU-hosted. Norvio is GDPR-compliant under UK and EU regulations.

Can I delete my account and data?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Request deletion from the account settings page or by emailing privacy@norvio.app. We delete or anonymise personal data within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements for billing records and audit logs.

Who has access to my landlord contact data?

Accepted Answer

Only you and any team members you've invited. Norvio's staff do not access customer data except where necessary for support requests you initiate, and never for any other purpose. The Data Processing Agreement at norvio.app/dpa covers the full terms.
